1934 W North Ave., Chicago|Completed
In with the old
Formerly the home of MTV’s The Real World Chicago in 2001, the history of 1934 North Ave dates back to 1907. Over the decades it served as a workshop, a storage facility, an acting studio, the Urbis Orbis Cafe, an antique shop, and finally a gym. Envoi returned the prominent Bucktown corner to residential life: nine apartments — a mix of two-bedrooms, one-bedrooms, and studios — above 2,673 square feet of retail anchored by The Chicago Dental Studio on a 10-year lease.
